• Coffea robusta and coffea arabica are the two major commercially grown
coffees in the World today.
• Coffee is grown within a thousand miles of the equator and the higher
the altitude, the finer the quality.
• Robusta is grown in lower altitudes than Arabica and generally has twice

• Brazil is the largest coffee grower in the world supplying about one
third of the total.
• Viet Nam is the second largest coffee grower on the planet. Colombia
